10 Yards Raw Silk Fabric Material -Natural - Premium quality - upholstery - noil

Description

We have for sale ten yards, contonuous, of natural, heavyweight, un-dyed raw silk.  It is 45" in width and is sold by the linear yard.   It is 'nubby' to the touch with small, little balls and bumps throughout.   It is a nice neutral cream or off-white color that is speckled with darker brown pieces which gives it a warm, inviting look.  It is very pleasing to the eye.
It is somewhat stiff, lays very well and does not wrinkle easily.
I have dyed this in the past and it takes dye very well.
This material is very versatile in it's uses.  It is extremely durable.  Raw silk of this weight and quality is not available.  Research has shown commercially available raw silk to weigh 5 ounces per square yard.
This fabric weighs 12 ounces per linear yard or ten ounces per square yard.
