    Description

    Hard to find Civil War era 10 cent share for the building of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin soldiers home.  It is dated 1865 and says entitled to a 10 cents share in the home.  The name at the top is Wallace (?) as I can't make it out.  This piece was found at an estate auction in a group of paper items with advertising from the upper midwest.  It has been folded as shown and is in delicate shape, but a true piece of history. It measures 8" by 11" when all the way open.
