Exceptional bronze sculpture depicting the first French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte on horseback. Bronze, patina. Signed “Morise” – Louis Marie Morise, a French sculptor (1818-1883). Stamped “Bronze garanti au titre Paris” – a French bronze guaranty stamp. Paris, France, second half of the 19th century.
Dimensions: 21” tall x 25 1/2” Width x 9” depth.
Base: 21 1/4” x 8 5/8”
Condition report: strong, sold condition, doesn’t show any repair spots, no damage. ”
