    A Mad Miter

    Stitched in shades of orange this piece measures 6.5" x 13"  There is about 1/4" of spare canvas for finishing.  It appears to have been mounted at some point and there is paper along the canvas on each end.
    Liz loved doing Mad Miters and occasionally taught the technique in workshops. This is one of the pieces she kept.

    Liz Morrow
    was a blogger and
    frequent contributor to Needlepoint News and to Needlepoint Now.  She worked for various needlepoint and x-stitch magazines for decades.  She did everything from accounting and shipping to stitching and editing projects that had been submitted.
    She has one book, now out of print,
    "Classic Posters for Needlepoint"
    published by Dover Publications
    1978.
    As a member of the American Needlepoint Guild she occasionally attended seminars.
    Her completed works are stunning...the artistry of each stitch is so beautiful!
    It is with great sadness that I share of her passing at the end of 2020...just days before her website was updated and reintroduced to the Needlepoint community.

    Google LizArt Needlepoint where she had commissioned another close friend to carry on her legacy and make patterns available to stitchers everywhere.
    I am a friend and neighbor who, for the last 2 years, has been helping her on eBay... to list & sell her supplies and the projects she has worked on over the years... some were stitched during seminars, others while creating her own very special designs.  Please watch my auctions as I will continue to list the items she asked me to sell.  Proceeds will go towards her estate.
