    Description

GURPS Aztecs Sacrifice and Glory in a Lost Civilization Blood And Sacrifice! The empire of the Aztecs stretched from ocean to ocean. They worshipped hundreds of gods, kept elaborate calendars and built gigantic stone pyramids that still stand as testament to their might. Their relentless armies seemed unstoppable. Then, in 1519, a few hundred Spanish invaders toppled it all. To the Spanish, the Aztecs were monstrous savages . . . pagans who tore the living hearts from thousands of innocent victims to feed a bloody idol. They never understood the culture they were destroying . . . or the philosophy behind the cruelty. The Aztec society was totally alien, stranger than any fantasy land. Now you can visit the world of the Aztecs from the inside. Inside you'll find: Aztec religion. Potent rituals and feasts to please their many gods, from the benign Quetzalcoatl to the evil lord Tezcatlipoca. Aztec magic. Rules for shape-shifting, casting curses, and foretelling the future. Sacrifice as a skill. Improve your fortune by feeding blood to the gods. Aztec combat. Including the ritual Flower Wars -- and the deadly ball-games in which the losing team was sacrificed. The Aztec calendar. Using its elaborate system of portents, each Aztec character will have his own lucky and unlucky days. Pochtecas. Travel with the merchant-adventurers who spied for the Emperor. Aztecs is 128-page sourcebook on the Aztec Empire and its strange practices for Steve Jackson's Generic Universal Role Playing System (GURPS). About Us
Hello fellow role playing enthusiast. I have been playing Dungeon's and Dragon's since 1976 and have played each version extensively. Since I first read Andre Norton's "Quag Keep", I have been scouting ahead in dungeon crawls, hurling fireballs, casting illusions, saving damsel's in distress, praying to the gods for aide and seeking a truly lawful and ordered society. As a dungeon master I am true to Gary Gygax's original teachings and have DM'd in Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun and a few other settings of my own creation. I am a recovering addict of Dark Ages of Camelot and have played Witcher, Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter's Night, Torment, Icewind Dale, Morrowind and Oblivion. I have dabbled in Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, Bloodbowl, Munchkin, Paranoia and am an avid board gamer as well.
I will do my best to keep you satisfied so
you will enjoy purchasing items from me now and in the future.
