CREWEL WORK OF ART DEPICTING A WINTER TOWN SCENE
DESCRIPTION
: This crewel embroidery piece is very well done; the stitching is even and shows the hand of an experienced stitcher. The piece itself measured approximately 17 inches high by 23 inches wide. It is framed in a simple black frame that brings the total measurement of the finished picture to approximately 18 1/2 inches high by 24 1/4 inches wide.
The scene is for a country town during a snowy day. People are everywhere among the buildings and trees; they sing in front of a decorated Christmas tree; have chats, snowball fights and sled ride. Others are skating or perhaps looking for their point of interest.
This is a very interesting, well done piece of needlework.
Please review the photographs closely and contact us with any questions. Our items have been donated to our thrift store and we usually do not have first hand knowledge of the item. We are also staffed by volunteers who are probably not expert in the item listed. We do try our best to determine the functionality of our items, but if an item is determined to not be as described, we will refund the cost of the item including shipping.
We list most of our items with calculated shipping, which allows the buyer to select from USPS, FedEx, and UPS with various shipping options available for each. Please review the shipping options carefully as we will ship however the buyer wishes. We have noted that the shipping cost provided by eBay is often much more than the actual cost. We will always be happy to send an invoice with a more accurate shipping cost, but we will refund excess charges over our actual shipping cost in any case.
