    Description

John Asaro - Planes Of The Head Sculpture -1976 - Art Study Dynamics Of The Head. Has a couple age appropriate scuffs, I have not attempted to clean this piece - ohn Asaro - Planes Of The Head Sculpture - Circa 1976 - Art Study Dynamics Of The Head. Measures 13" tall x7 1/2" wide x 9" deep. A statement piece, a tool to learn to draw, or a place to hang your hat. Versatile while bringing an element of wonder to your décor. This is an original piece made of ceramic/plaster, not a plastic replica. The Planes of the Head is designed as a tool for learning how to draw and paint the human head. The model is applicable to both sexes and all races, with variations arising only in proportion. The left side shows the basic structure of the head's planes as seen in a rounded and or younger face. The right side shows a more complex structure characteristic of a thinner and or older face. It is designed for both independent and classroom use.
Amazing piece, no cracks, chips or discoloration noted, an excellent addition for the artist or collector!
