    Description

    This wonderful Scottish Terrier dog is rare and signed Kirmse (C) as well as Gorham Co. and OGGF. Marguerite Kirmse (1885 - 1954) was born in England and was a famous artist specializing in dogs. She moved to America and married her husband who was a show judge for scotties and they resided in CT where they raised several breeds including scotties. I know this bronze is one of three different poses she did and have heard each was limited to only 50 but haven’t been able to confirm that. It measures 3 inches long by 1 1/2 inches tall and is in great vintage condition with nice patina.
