Never Used Dust Cover for Techincs SL1200 MK II Turntable
Still in original factory wrappings, and only now opened for photos and mechanical checking, this is the dustcover that shipped with a Technics SL1200 MK II Turntable I bought in the 80's. I never used it (as the turntable was one of two enclosed in a custom built "coffin" for a DJ company I was operating at the time) and it's been in storage ever since. This item is brand new but upon inspection I noticed small scuffs on left and right sides near back - Please see pictures. Aside from that this dustcover is both pristine and original. I did place it in my 1200 MK II turntabe to check it mechanically - raising, parking it up right and lowering it, and it performs perfectly. When I unwrapped it for that and for the photos I took care to handle it with gloves to avoid adding any fingerprints.
