Vintage Brass Machinery Attachment w/ Trough & Moveable Wheel (Almost 6 lbs)

Description

This sale is for a vintage brass machinery attachment that has a wheel which rotates, a trough and a variety of adjustments.  The trough, which the seller believes may have held some kind of liquid (perhaps glue?) that would have been applied to the wheel as it rotated, measures 5 inches square at the base and  2 1/2 inches in height. The bottom of the trough has a slight slope with the lowest part under the wheel.  The diameter of the wheel measures 3 1/2 inches and is marked "520".  The overall height of the piece measures 6 1/2 inches and it weighs almost 6 pounds. Other parts are marked "716"  and "524".  There are some scratches, dents and abrasions on this piece from many years of wear. This unique item would make an interesting paperweight or a desk caddie that might hold paper clips or other office supplies. This item will be disassembled for shipping and packed carefully.  The buyer can reassemble the piece by referring to the pictures if needed.  Study the pictures carefully as there are no returns.  This seller does not ship internationally.
