Vintage Mattel Midge Barbie Doll American Girl 1962 Ponytail Case SET

LOOK!!! Here is a HTF 1962 bubble cut/Mod Barbie!! I am told this is an ?"American Girl" face.
Hair is dark brown, very thick and see no definitive part, side swept and has not been cut. Head is in excellent condition, brown brows, black molded lashes, light blue eyeliner and blue side glancing eyes.Has very small holes at ears for earrings.
Body is hard plastic and some scratching on back. Stamp on right buttock "Midge TM 1962 Barbie 1958 by Mattel Inc. Patented". Number 7 on left buttocks.
Arms straight, right pinky is missing and left pinky tip missing. some denting on hands-see pics.
Legs are straight, toes intact, right foot has a dent/light area at toes, nail polish is worn as well. No opening on bottom of feet but there is a stamp "Japan".
Clothed in original bathing suit although it is in poor condition. INCLUDED is a formal dress (no label) ?from 1950s?black and light turquoise blue. Bows on shoulders and skirt. Does need cleaning/repair-also has repaired areas and stitch loss at waist and a small hole at bust area. Metal snap closures.
Blue "Ponytail" 1962 carrying case included. Good condition-has wear at bottom corners (inside-has tearing) and darkened areas inside. Metal fasteners and clasp does have some rust.
