    Description

Craft Knife Hardware Kit (11mm outer diameter) - turn your own handle (handle and wood blank not included). Manually machined brass hardware holds blade without any play, just loosen the screw and switch blades when you need a sharp one. Holds x-acto "B" or Swann-Morton craft blades (50 for ~). The Swann-Morton blades are similar to an x-acto blade but slightly thicker, longer and stiffer - they fit well into tight spaces and are tough enough to do some corner clean-up. These blades are favored for marking knives by influential woodworkers such as Paul Sellers, Matt Estlea, and Jonathan Katz-Moses.
This 11mm diameter version is similar in proportions to a #2 hobby knife handle. See my other listings for lighter 10mm diameter and heavier 1/2" hexagonal ferrule versions.
